A Day Visit to Singapore

At last... I step my foot on the Lion City ~ Singapore / SINGApura. Entering with my friend who is working there and he dropped me at Far East Plaza. Taking some meal at The OldTown while planning my journey and later on going to ION Orchard.. took some photos. Then I bought Ezlink card (a convenient card for traveling on public transport; MRT, LRT, Bus, Taxi) that cost me $15 with store-value of $10. There is also an alternative Tourist Pass that cost $8 valid for 1 day and single trip ticket that can be bought via General Ticketing Machine at the station. Continue my journey, I took train from Orchard to Clarke Quay. I then took a boat ride along the Singapore river that across Clarke Quay to Marina Bay - service provided by Singapore River Cruise. It cost $15 for a 30 mins ride.

After the river cruise I walk along the river to Merlion Park. Along the way I met with a lot of historical buildings, monuments and sculptures; Raffles landing site, Victorian Memorial Hall, Singapore Art Museum and etc. Merlion Park is a must place to visit. This is the main attraction of Singapore. Merlion is a symbol of Singapore since 1972. After took some photos, I continue my journey to Suntec City Mall ~ 1 of the biggest shopping complex in Singapore. Having my lunch at McD n continue my walk around the Suntec City Mall. Walk, walk, walk and exploring until I felt tired n don't know anywhere to go.

Refer back to the map guide, I planned to go Bugis Junction. A familiar name for me and have a curiosity to go there. Wihtout delay, I took the train from City Hall station to Bugis an arrived in less than 2 mins. Going to Bugis Street ~ similar to Petaling Street & the largest street shopping location in Singapore. There is a lot of shops selling t-shirts, jeweleries, accessories, souvenirs, foods & drinks n etc. Very crowded place n have a very narrow walk way. After finished walking around the street, I decided to go back to ION Orchard. Took train from Bugis to Orchard. ION Orchard has a really magnificent view at night. The building covered with a dynamic light. Took some photos n then took train from Orchard to Woodlands. It's already late and I need to catch up with the bus going back to Tmn U. The journey from Orchard to Woodlands took quite a long journey ~ took about 30 mins. Then took a bus to JB at Woodlands Checkpoint.

Reached JB about 9pm and took a bus to Tmn U.

From the visit I observed that:

Singapore is a Pedestrian Friendly place. There is underpass that make crossing road safe & convenient.
It has a very convenient and efficient public transport system.
A clean place.

p/s: don't forget to fill D/E Card a.k.a White Card before entering Singapore.

Will be going to Singapore tomorrow. InsyaAllah. Been there for the 1st time (walaupun aku sebenonye anak jati johor tp x pernah skali pun jejak kaki ke S'pore) and will be going alone. Pakai redah jak ni. Hope x tersesat la.

Accept or Reject. Itulah keputusan yg harus aku bt. 2 insisden berlaku hari ni.

1. Dapat panggilan tepon dr fakulti pagi ni. Aku dh tahu ape yg diorg nak bgtau sbb Dr. Azizi dh brief aku the day before. Aku di offer oleh dr. azizi utk jd fotografer utk Faculty's Postgrads Handbook and at the same time advice on design bagi handbook tu. So today, ajk yg in-charge call aku utk minta 'tolong diorg' amik gambo yg relevan n advice on design diorg seperti yg di brief oleh dr. azizi. Aku jd serba salah nak bgtau brape aku charge sebab ayat dia 'mintak tolong' tu seperti memerlukan aku utk bt kerja amal. So aku bgtau kt dia biar aku pikir dulu... so skang tgh cari ayat yg sopan utk bgtau yg aku perlu charge diorg.... still thinking.

2. Actually sorg kakak kt opis aku dh beberapa hari offer aku utk join skali ngan business dia. Ceritenye, kt depan umah aku ade bukak satu kedai wedding planner (hari nie br aku tau kedai nie yg dia dok crite). Dia offer aku utk letak portfolio aku kt kedai (dia pun menumpang gak utk pakej andaman dia) nie. Kira aku akan masuk dlm pakej yg diorg offer la. Masalahnye kt aku.. aku rase aku blum bersedia n blum bleh bg komitmen. So aku bgtau for the moment biar aku pikir dulu... tp bile2 pun aku bleh bincang ngan tauke kedai utk join ngan perniagaan diorg... still tinking.

Offer yg 1st bleh consider lg. Yg 2nd rasenye perlu difikirkan semasak2nye sbb ia melibatkan reputasi diri... n biz nie melibatkan a moment of a lifetime.

Dh seminggu aku sakit tekak... menyeksakan. Asik batuk je siang mlm. Smlm aku amik MC sbb sakit sgt kepala n batuk2 je.

Ari nie masuk keje balik....walaupun sakit tekak blum baik...sambg kerja yg tertangguh. Kena siapkan bulletin CEPP ...PhytoEdge. Plan nak bt weekend tp disebbkan krg sihat ssh nak jana otak nie nak mendesign. So ari nie gagahkan diri utk siapkan jg. Alhamdullillah, dpt jg siapkan bulletin tu 75%. Mlm nie nak sambung balik... bt correction yg bos srh bt. Hopefully dpt antar utk printing by end of this week.

N then esok ade visitor dari Saudi Arabia n Indonesia... so kena la berkemas n prepare ape yg patut. Nasib baik x de briefing session. Klu x kelam kabut mlm nie nak siapkan presentation. Ptg td plak prof aku ade kelas, so kena la setting utk kelas dia. LCD projector bt hal plak, kena la amik portable LCD projector. Alhamdullilah sume ok.... Then sambg balik keje mendesign n mengedit.

Yesterday I went to Pulai Reservoir aka PUB for fishing with my housemate (soleh, arip and yahya). This place is located at right roadside from Taman Pulai Indah towards Pekan Nenas. Only soleh was fishing and I with my A300 trying to improve my shooting skill for nature photography. ;) Here are some photos that I captured... comment & critic are welcomed.

CNY @ Midvalley Megamall & i-FEST 2009

Last week I had outstaion job at Midvalley Megamall from 21st - 26th January 2008 (Working on CNY holiday... huhu). I had exhibition at Midvalley Exhibition Centre (MIVEC) - Festival Pembangunan Usahawan Islam 2009 (i-FEST). This event is was organised by Yayasan Pembanguna Ekonomi Islam Malaysia (YAPEIM). There is stage performance everyday from the 1st day. They invite some popular artistes such as Nasser Wahab, Bienda, Salima AF, Waheeda, Haziq AF, Rabbani, Ramli Sarip, Kopratasa, Halil Chik, Heliza AF, FIDA (Pantene girl), and some other performer. They really got a lot of sponsorship. I also take some walk around Midvalley to feel the CNY celebration mood. As it was really near to the CNY, all of CNY perfomance at the centre court of Midvalley was over but still able to capture some CNY decoration and stalls there. A Trip to Gunung Pulai

Yesterday I went to Gunung Pulai with my housemate Soleh. It takes about 45 mins to reach there from Skudai. Then we walk about an hour to the waterfall. Actually, there is still a few waterfalls on the way to the waterfall that we went but it is not as beatiful and as tall as the waterfall that we went. Here a some photos of the trip. Worksyop Pembangunan Industri Herba & Bioteknologi -10.12.08

Aku telah menjadi sekretariat utk worksyop nie. Aku assist dalam perjalanan program n pameran. So petang hari raye haji aku dh chow balik ke skudai semula. 9hh kena bertolak ke UTM International Campus, KL. Kitorg stay di BATC (UTMKL). Worksyop diadakan di dewan Jumaah. Almost 40 participant join worksyop nie. Penyertaan kebanyakkan daripada golongan professional. Kitorg balik awal sekitar pkl 4.30pm n worksyop masih berjln n fahd take over the rest of the event.

Program Pelajar Luar Universiti 2008 (Tangga Batu, Melaka) - 12.12.08

Program bakti siswa pelajar UTM. Anjuran Kolej Tuanku Canselor (KTC). Kitorg dijemput utk pameran Kecemerlangan UTM sempena program bakti siswa tersebut. Ini adalah satu lg program kepolitikan yg mempergunakan mahasiswa sebgai alat. Dalam surat jemputan sipa tulis 'Jemputan Pameran Kcemerlangan UTM sempena Program Pelajar Luar Universiti 2008 - Parlimen Tangga Batu". Diorg nie mmg biawak. Cakap pelajar tak bleh terlibat dalam aktiviti politik luar kampus tp bila program UMNO/BN sume bleh. Pameran tu half day je. Tp aku bertolak sehari sblm utk mengelakkan kelam kabut. Lg pun aku x brape sure tmpt yg nak di tuju nie - SK Paya Rumput. Kami duduk di umah sewa keluarga awek soleh sbb umah tu pun tgh kosong, student poli cuti. Mmg baik sungguh layanan keluarga awek soleh nie. Sampai2 umah dia sblm ke umah sewa tu, diorg jamu kitorg pengat labu beserta kuih popiah n tersedia kuih muih raye haji. (Diorg nie org kelantan yg dh lama menetap di Melaka). Rumah yg kitorg menginap nie mmg selesa gila. Penyewanye perempuan, so mmg bersih la sgt. Mlm tu bakal bapak mertua soleh nie siap offer mkn mlm kt umah dia. Tp kitorg tolak sbb layanan yg dia bg nie pun dh cukup. Lg pun kitorg plan nak merayau2 kt area sekitar.

Esknye, pkl 8am bertolak ke tmpt pameran n sblm tu bersarapan di restoran nasi kandar. YB dtang pkl 10.30am. n then majlis settle dlm pkl 2pm. Pengarah kau pun dtg gak sbb dia org Melaka. Bagi aku ade improvement compare program yg sama kt Pasir Gudang a few weeks earlier. N then kitorg pulang kunci kt umah tuan rumah. Plan x nak singgah tp tuan umah dh jemput kena la terima. Dia hidangkan kitorg kuih muih n the dh nak balik diorg dh siap masak nasi plak. So kena la stay a bit longer n menjamu hidangan yg telah disediakan. Mmg penuh perut dibuatnye. Karnival Usahawan Desa 2008 - 18-20.12.08

KKLW jemput company aku join pameran nie. Diorg bg booth free. So join je la. Held on 18-20th Dicember 2008 kt Dataran Merdeka. Pegi 17hb n menginap di Grand Seasons Hotel, KL (Nie je hotel yg dpt sbb sume hotel yg nearby Dataran Merdeka penuh). Thanks for k.Izan sbb dpt booking kn hotel tu. Kami yg jaga pameran hanya dihantar dan diambil saja. So 18-20hb kenalah naik public transport utk ke dataran merdeka. naik kt Titiwangsa n then trn kt Masjid Jamek. Dr observation aku ttg pameran nie, tujuan utamanya adalah untuk Mohamad Taib meraih undi bagi pemilihan MT UMNO.

During the 3 days exhibition mmg mencabar kesabaran ku. Dia punya panas. Azab sungguh. Tp terpaksa la kena tahan je. Org dtg bt2 senyum. 1st night aku bw Farah n Ismail pegi Times square n jln2 bkt bintang. Diorg nie new RO kt n br 1st time join exhibition. 2nd night balik trus tido. penat gile. Pkl 11 mlm br kuar cari mkn. 3rd night pun balik trus tido. 4th night jln2 pegi chow kit. Mmg aku x brape merayau utk exhibition kali nie sbb terlampau penat menahan kepanasan semasa jaga pameran. Hari terakhir pameran en.Azman (driver) dtg amik kitorg n then esoknya pegi jom heboh kt bukit jalil. Aku x brape jln sgt sbb panas sgt. nak brg pun x dpt sbb x de ATM kt sane. Hikmatnye, klu bleh withdraw money mesti habis byk duit aku melabur kt jom heboh tu. Pkl 2 bertolak pulang ke JB. Sgt memenatkan... dh la menahan kepanasan sepjg 3 hari exhibition n then kenderaan naik van yg tempat duduknye keras and unadjustable. Esknye aku amik cuti utk rehat sepuas-puasnye n membetulkan otot2 yg kejung.

Event I CEPP's Bowling Tournament 2008

Date / Time I 1 November 2008 / 11.30am - 2.30pm

An annual event for CEPP's Welfare Club. This yr the event on the day unlike last yr at night.A total of 12 teams with 3 members for each team. The team which consist of 2 ladies are given 30 extra pin. My team won 2nd place (just 1 pin different from the 1st place). I'm the lowest scorer in my team. Sorry guys I cannot perform well till the end.... huhu. Anyway, we still in the top 3. Next yr we are going to beat them! haha. The 3 games really hurt my thumbnail but still keep on playing. Really enjoy the games.

And then after finished playing bowling, Me, Lynn, A'ah, K.Izan, K.Vina and her daughter having our lunch at Ramen Jusco Tmn U. The most hot and spice tomyam I'd ever ate. In a really big bowl but I still able to finish it (i don't like to waste food). After fulled our stomach we dismissed. I go back and sleep....Zzzzzz.

Budak Kelantan

Last night, I watched a film entitled 'Budak Kelatan' at TGV Jusco Tebrau City - A last minute plan. I went there with Soleh, Ina and Aju. The film was directed by Wan Azli n Palyed by Asrulfaizal, Danny x-factor and Bienda. Below is a brief synopsis of the film.

Synopsis

Two childhood friends, Buchek and Jaha, met again in Kuala Lumpur after being separated for so long. They’re now young adults – but due to different experiences in life, their attitudes and views about the world became totally different from one another.
Buchek is a graduate from UM while Jaha, who used to stay in a rehabilitation school Henry Gurney, is now trapped into the hustle and bustle of city life in Kuala Lumpur.
After they met, Jaha decided to share and show some parts of his life with Buchek, who happens to lead a totally different lifestyle than him. Buchek witnessed the wild lifestyles of Jaha and felt the need to bring him back into the righteous path.
Throughout their times together, Buchek suddenly realized that Jaha had suddenly fallen for his girlfriend, Che’ Nor. Buchek was willing to let go of Che Nor with the hope of Jaha becoming a better person, as he believes that true love could change a person’s life.
Nevertheless, Che Nor was not willing to fulfill Buchek’s wishes as she’s already in love with Buchek. Buchek then became unhappy with Che Nor’s decision for not wanting to accept Jaha, as he believed that the whole scenario was God’s will. Then, a tragic accident took Jaha’s life before he could repent on all his wrongdoings. Due to that, Buchek blamed Che Nor for rejecting Jaha. He then decided to leave Che’ Nor and accepted the love from Lee Chen Chen, a Chinese girl who was one of Jaha’s victim whom he had saved.

Rating - 3 star. I don't really comfortable with the cinematography. The flow of the story is not very smooth but still able to understand the whole story. Have to watch from the beginning to understand the whole story. A relaxing film that does not required to think 'beyond'. Overall is Good.

P/S: This is the third film I watch in the cinema since I work in Johor. 1- 10,000 B.C (GSC Pelangi, JB), 2- The Hell Boy 2 (GSC The Mines, KL) and 3- Budak Kelantan (TGV, Jusco Tebrau City, Johor). I'm not a 'Kaki Wayang'. hehe

Last Thursday night, my office organized a Hari Raya Celebration and Anugerah Khidmat Cemerlang. I am 1 of the receiver of the award that night (shocked but happy). Thanks for those who had voted me for this award. I really appreciated it. I am the most junior staff who received the award. I didn't expect to receive the award but that's God's will. I also happy b'coz my close colleague received the award together with me (otherwise, I will fell guilty). I also wants to congrats other award receiver. You all deserved it.

Together with the Anugerah Khidmat Cemerlang is Hari Raya Celebration. Menu; nasi beriyani gam (Shahab), lemang, rendang, sate, kuah kacang n nasi himpit. Sorry, there is no photo of the menu as I busy with eating. hehehe. This yr is not so happening compare to last yr but the lucky draw prize is better thisyr. Unfortunately, I'm not very lucky that night. Overall.... it's ok la.

'Hari Raya' Holiday

I will go back to my 'Kampung' this evening. Actually planned in the morning but my childhood friend that I'm going to tumpang still want to do some hari raya shopping. I will be on holiday from 27/9 to 5/10 and then after that I have outstation jobs 6/10-9/10 and then continue my holiday until 12/10. During that period I may not update my blog. I.Allah if I have time I will try to update my blog during that time but usually.....I don't. But I.Allah after 12/10 I will update my blog and give a great story of my Hari Raya Holiday.

p/s: I'm now really excited to celebrate Idul fitri. All my siblings are backed home for this hari raya. Only my 1st brother in law couldn't celebrate with us b'coz his on duty.

Bagi mereka yg plg jauh, berhati2 diperjalanan pulang ke kg halaman, selamat pergi dan selamat kembali. Dikesempatan ini juga aku ingin memohon seribu kemaafan andaikata penulisan aku menyentuh sensitiviti sesiapa.

Juadah berbuka kami beli di bazaar ramadhan kt Pasar Tani, Tmn U. Dh ujung2 nie dh x brape meriah plak. Ade beberapa peniaga pun dh x berniaga. Aku nak beli murtabak kg. melayu....tp hampa.... dia x buka plak semlm. Tp beli gak murtabak sbb mmg dh plan nak mkn murtabak. Main menu, aku beli roti john. Bagi aku roti john tu plg sedap pernah aku mkn sepjg ramadhan ni. Minuman; Air tebu.

Then siap membeli maka kami trus blah. Lupa plak nak bgtau. Nama member aku nie rashid@acid. Member masa upper secondary dulu. Lama jg aku lepak umah dia. Dkt jam 11pm br balik umah. I.Allah klu aku free n rajin lg aku teman ko buka pose lg.

Last Wednesday, aku ngan beberapa member telah plan bt sambutan birthday Azma secara kecil-kecilan. N then, Salman pun birthday pun just 2 hari slps birthday Azma. So, kitorg decide utk celebrate diorg sekali gus. Maka tempat yg dipilih adalah cafe kolej 9, UTM. Kek telah disponsor oleh Olie. Kt bwh nie gambo kek nye. Simple but tasty.

Selain kek coklat kat atas. Main menu lain adalah pizza..... hawaian pizza and supreme pizza. Menu lain biasa la klu pose nie, kuih-muih pelbagai. Minuman masing2. Aku minum carrot susu, 2 gelas lg tu. mmg haus giler. Semenjak 2 menjak nie klu pegi kedai mesti nak order fruit juice je. Mcm dh jd favourite drink plak. Kt bwh nie gambo pizza terakhir yg x larat utk dihabiskan. Tp akhirnya abis gak.

Selamat Hari Malaysia kepada semua Rakyat MALAYSIA

Hari Malaysia jatuh pada tanggal 16 September bagi memperingati hari penubuhan sebuah negara bangsa iaitu Malaysia. Tertubuhnya Malaysia adalah selepas percantuman Sabah, Sarawak dan Singapura bersama Tanah Melayu pada tahun 1963. Bendera Malaysia telah dikibarkan pada tanggal 16 September 1963 melambangkan lahirnya sebuah negara bernama MALAYSIA.

Bendera Malaysia yang pada asalnya dari bendera Persekutuan Tanah Melayu. Hanya di tambah 3 jalur dgn kemasukan Sabah, Sarawak dan Singapura walaupun kemudiannya Singapura keluar dr Malaysia pada tahun 1965 jumlah jalur tersebut masih dikekalkan. Bendera Malaysia telah dicipta oleh Arkitek Kerajaan Johor (bangga aku jd anak Johor) pada masa itu iaitu En. Mohamed bin Hamzah.

JALUR GEMILANG adalah nama bendera Malaysia yang telah diisytiharkan oleh Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, Perdana Menteri Malaysia ke-4 pada malam 31 Ogos 1997 sempena Hari Kemerdekaan Malaysia yang ke - 40 di Dataran Merdeka.

Aktiviti buka pose aku masa bulan ramadhan nie. First lps cuti seminggu awal pose aku pegi buka pose kt 'Papa Chop Mama Grill' ngan housemate ku, azma, aju, ina, olie n faizal on 10th Sept. Aku makan Salmon Steak n minum Ice Blended Chocolate. Actually 'Papa Chop Mama Grill' nie dpn apartment aku je, tp x pernah tergerak hati nak pi mkn kt situ. This is the first time aku mkn kt situ. Food rating: average

Ari sabtu (13th Sept) plak buka pose atas jemputan....org blanja. Makan kt Johnny's Restaurant kt Jusco Tmn U. Kak Maizon, org yang introduce aku jd agent insurans Great Eastern. Mula2 aku malu jg nak terima pelawaan dia sbb aku dh pass exam insurans tp blum start2 lg jd agen. Tp pikir balik, klu jumpe dia at least aku bleh dpt semangat baru. Kitorg makan 'steambot' n minum fresh orange. Byk jg makanan. Jenuh jg nak menghabiskannye.

N then on Sunday (14th August) kitorg satu umah pakat2 bekerjasama memasak. Rasanye hari paling meriah aku buka pose kt umah. Mcm2 lauk di masak. Terasa lain plak...seronok. Ye la, biase satu umah pegi bazaar ramadhan tp ari tu sume pakat2 masak kt umah. Menu; Tomyam, sayur, telur goreng, ayam goreng, tempeh goreng (cecah sambal kicap), ulam petai (cecah budu), serunding daging, kuih muih (disponsor oleh salman), Air blackcurrant+anggur+buah kabong, desert (aiskrim paddle pop + seedless grape).

Semalam plak aku telah plan ngan member aku dr S'pore bernama Syahrul utk buka pose kt jb. Turut menyertai Cik Lily. Diorg nie member2 aku mase blaja kt UMS dulu. Kitorg makan kt Pizza Hut kt Kotaraya, JB. Makan sampai nak meletup perut. Yg tinggal hanya sebiji wings. Mcm mn x penuh perut, dh order combo n then tambah lg side menu lain. Bercerite pjg kitorg al-maklumlah dh lama x jumpe. Duduk kt pizza hut tu dr pkl 8pm sampai pkl 10pm. Duduk kt situ sampai diorg nak tutup kedai. Thanks 2 Syahrul sbb blanja aku n Thanks 2 Lily sbb antar aku sampai Tmn U.

I wish a Happy Teacher's Day to all Teachers through out Malaysia. A day that give appreciations to teachers for their contribution in nation building.

There are a few of people that had taught me until I become the who I am now that I really want to meet the most. They are;

Cikgu Roshita (Taught me Math and BM during my primary school, she's really a most dedicated teacher and had sacrifice a lot for her students. Had lost contact since I finished my secondary school).
Teacher Koh Paw Cheng (Taught me English lesson during primary school from std 2 to std 3. I am 1 of her favourite student...perhap?...'coz iI always score in her subject; English. We had our last conversation before I further my study to university)
Ustazah Ruhana Atan (My class teacher when I am in form 3. Taught History and Malay Language lesson during my secondary school. Very encouraging. She always give me advice if I did wrong in school even though after she was no more became my class teacher. Last met after finished my matriculation)

Those teacher above are very meaningful to me. Hope one day I could meet them again to thanks for everything that they had done.

Perjalanan yang ndak aku rancang. Membuat keputusan di saat akhir bagi mengikuti rakan-rakan ku berlibur ka Tangjung Piai - The Southernmost Tip of Mainland Asia. Kami 7 orang semuanya (Aku, Soleh, Yahya, Faizal, Ina, Olie and Aju). Ini adalah perjalanan ku yang pertama ke Tg. Piai walaupun aku merupakan anak jati Johor. Mungkin aku perlu menceritakan serba sedikit tentang Tg. Piai ini sebagai informasi.

Tg. Piai merupakan Tanah Terselatan Benua Asia. Terletak di daerah Pontian, Johor. Ia adalah seperti Simpang Mengayau yang merupakan Tanah Terutara Pulau Borneo di Kudat (pernah sekali aku ke sana bersama2 rakan2 ku ketika aku menuntut di sana) cuma bezanya, Simpang Mengayau merupakan kawasan yang berbatu-batu tetapi Tg. Piai pula merupakan suatu pusat konservasi hutan paya bakau. Ia telah di gazetkan sebagai Taman Negara Johor. Antara tarikan utama Tangjung Piai adalah pengalaman menyusuri hutan paya bakau dan melihat kunang-kunang. Tetapi - AWAS, terdapat banyak monyet dan species yang seumpamanya di situ. Hutan paya bakau tersebut merupakan habitat semulajadi haiwan ini. Usah bimbang, haiwan itu tidak akan menggangu jika kita tidak menggangu mereka. Pelbagai hidupan hutan paya bakau yg lain juga dapat dilihat di sini seperti siput, ketam, ikan belacak dsbg.

Papan Tanda: 'You'll Never Walk Alone'

Kembali kepada perjalanan ke Tg.Piai pada 10 Mei 2008. Kami bergerak pada sekitar jam 2.15 petang dan tiba kira2 jam 3.3o ptg. Ada dua laluan - 1. laluan melalui Seri Bunian atau 2. Laluan melalui pekan Pontian (tetapi agak jauh). Kami mengikut laluan masuk ke pekan pontian kerana kami tidak berapa mengejar masa. Setelah tiba kami terus masuk ke Taman Negara Johor, Tg. Piai. agak teruja juga ketika masuk buat pertama kali kerana akhirnya aku telah sampai ke 2 buah Tanah Penghujung yang terdapat di Malaysia. Terasa bangga. Kami mengambil masa kira-kira 2 jam menyusuri dan menghayati keindahan alam di Tg. Piai. Selepas dari itu, kami bergerak ke pekan Kukup bg mencari restoran makanan laut, malangnya kami tidak menjumpai restoran yang selesa bagi kaim. Jadi kami kembali ke Tg. Piai di mn di sana ada resort mempunyai restoran makanan laut. Tetapi bila kami pesanan kami sampai sampai, kami rasa tiada bezanya makan makanan laut di situ dgn di Tmn U. Tetapi disebabkan lapar, kami makan saja apa yang ada. Setelah selesai makan kami terus pulang ke Skudai. Walaupun tidak menjumpai tempat makanan laut yang enak di Kukup seperti yang byk org kata, namun aku rasa berpuas hati kerana dapat menikmati pengalaman ke Tg. Piai yg merupakan tujuan utama perjalanan kami. Bagi mereka yg belum pernah lagi pergi ke Tg.Piai, saya amat mengesyorkan tempat ini untuk dilawati. Anda pasti akan menikmati suatu pengalaman yg baru.

Kursus Pemikiran Kreatif

Pada 7-8 Mei 2008 lalu aku telah mengikuti kursus seperti tajuk entry aku ini. Kursus tersebut telah berlangsung di Sofitel Palm Resort, Senai. Ini merupakan kursus pertama anjuran UTM yg aku ikuti. Al-maklumlah aku ini hanya seorg pekerja bertaraf kontrak. Jarang2 aku mendapat peluang bagi mengikuti kursus anjuran UTM. Kursus ini pun aku sertai bagi menggantikan rakan sekerjaku yg harus tidak dapat hadir ke kursus tersebut. Tp, aku tidak brapa kisah, kira dapat peluang begini pun aku syukur, Alhamdulillah. Aku fikir ia hanya kursus-kursus biasa kerajaan, yang hanya dipenuhi dgn omongan yg melenakan peserta namun tangga ku silap, ia amat berbeza kerana ia suatu kursus yang paling energetik yang pernah aku ikiuti dan ia di gerakkan oleh orang yg agak terkenal iaitu Dr. Luv. Ketika mula2 dia melangkah ke dalam dewan kursus, aku punya perasaan seperti melihat lelaki ini. Hanya selepas aku menerima fail kursus, barulah aku sedar yang beliau adalah guru motivasi di AF3 dan AF5.

Berpeluang bergambar dengan Dr.Luv

Perjalanan kursus adalah mudah dan lebih banyak bengkel dijalan berbanding teori. Pelbagai persoalan menguji minda yang diutarakan yang kadang kala soalan yang diberikan bisa di jawab dgn mudah oleh kanak-kanak tetapi tidak bagi orang seperti aku yg dewasa ini. Disebabkan pemikiran orang dewasa yg selalu memikirkan masalah yang kompleks kadang kala tidak dapat menyelesaikan masalah yang mudah yg dgn mudah bisa diselesaikan oleh kanak-kanak. Apa yang aku faham dari kursus ini, dalam menyelesaikan masalah, pemikiran yg kreatif adalah penting bagi mendapat jawapan yang baik dan yang paling penting berkesan dalam hal penyelesaian masalah. Dan bagi menjana pemikiran yg kreatif kita perlulah sentiasa berfikir dan terus berfikir walaupun ia perkara yg remeh-temeh. Dengan pemikiran kreatif sahaja lah yang dapat membangunkan sesebuah institusi utk berkembang maju dan effisien.

Secara keseluruhannya, aku amat berpuas hati tentang penganjuran kursus 2 hari tersebut. Semoga aku dapat mengikuti lagi kursus-kursus mendatang yang dianjurkan oleh UTM.

Tragedi Ikan Belaan

Semalam satu kematian beramai-ramai telah berlaku dirumah ku. Hampir semua ikan di dalam akuarium di kediaman aku telah melepaskan nafas yang terakhir, yang tinggal hanya beberapa ekor yang mempunyai semangat yang kuat dan lobster yang memang mempunyai ketahanan diri yang tinggi itu. Dengan kematian tersebut, maka berbahagia dan berseronok lah semua udang-udang kecil yang berhabit di tempat yang sama kerana kurang ancaman daripada ikan sungai yang amat rakus itu. Semuanye berlaku tanpa disangka-sangka selepas mengembalikan mereka selepas membersihkan habitat mereka. Tiba-tiba sahaja seekor... demi seekor daripada mereka kecundang dan maut. Sungguh sedih kerana hanya baru beberapa hari aku melihat mereka menari-nari mengikut alunan air dengan penuh keriangan dan kini... mereka sudah tiada lagi. Hanya tinggal beberapa ekor sahaja yang kurang aktif, barangkali berdukacita atas kematian rakan-rakan mereka yang lain. Persoalan masih bermain difikiran ku, apakah penyebab berlakunya semua ini? Ketidak bersihan air atau kerna kekurangan sumber udara? Aku masih musykil ?!!...

Esok dan lusa, aku tidak akan berada di pejabat ku. Aku akan menghadiri satu kursus anjuran UTM bertajuk 'Kursus Pemikiran Kreatif' menggantikan Kak Ina (Colleague yang duduk di belakang mejaku) kerna beliau harus mengajar di 'Kursus Terapi Urutan Selepas Bersalin' di CEPP pada hari yang sama. Kursus selama 2 hari itu akan berlangsung di Dewan Allamanda, Palm Resort, Senai Johor. Harap dengan kehadiran aku di kursus tersebut dapatlah menambah ilmu ku dalam menjadikan aku lebih kreatif dan inovatif....

Malaysia Parliamentary House

I just want to share my opinion regarding the insident happened last week in the parliamentary house. The assembly that ended without discussing isues for rakyat but more on the political and personal interest issues. A live telecast of parliament assembly that showed the insidence that shouldn't happened. It was ashamed for the intelectuals that govern the country of Malaysia behaving like a 3 years old kids. Everyone in the parliamentary house is trying to protect their own onterest and some of them just want to showed up with a controversial political issues and by provoking others. They also used improper words - they are just like a small kids quarelling. Though I'm not watching the live telecast (the telecast was during working hour) but I'd watched it at the prime news (Bulletin Utama - TV3). The BN was trying to showed off that they are doing the right things and the opposition are keep on provoking. What had happened to our parliamentary house? They also don't even showed any respect to the house as the highest place in Malaysia's judiciary body. It seems that all politician still not wake-up from their dreams. If this insidence not be monitored or controlled, our country may become backwards instead of moving forward to become a developed country. The parliamentary house should not be used at the platform to condemn others but to discuss issues that could give benefits to our country to become a developed country. They already misuse the opportunities that had been given to them. They have to go back to the objectives of the establishment the house of parliament and give respect. If they don't shows their respect to the Malaysia House of Parliament, means that they are also not respecting their own country ...Malaysia.

The suggestion of stopping the live telecast of the meeting is a decision that I definitely do not agree. If they stop the live telecast means that they are going to hide the truth of what happened in the parliamentary house and also to hide their true colors. Malaysian have the right to know what is happened in parliamentary house and to see how their MPs are behaving. Malaysian are now had matured enough, and they are not easily being fooled by all of these politicians. Your action are your responsibility. Do not blame others for wrong that you have done.

I don't care if the Malaysian government want to banned my blog. Malaysia is a democracy country, so I have the rights to voice out my opinions to the publics. I really welcomed Malaysian out there to share their opinion with me or if made mistake, do remind and advice me.

Politik Malaysia Pasca Pilihanraya ke-12

'Memperkasa Ketuanan orang Melayu'. Itulah taktik politik UMNO pasca pilihanraya ke-12. What the hell they are trying to perjuangkan? For me, ape yang mereka perbincangkan tentang isu 'ketuanan orang Melayu' adalah lebih kepada 'Ketuanan Parti UMNO'. I'm not going to side to any parties tp ini adalah based on what I've observed from the current situation. Walaupun pilihanraya telah berlalu hampir 2 bulan, namun ia masih hangat diperbincangkan oleh masyarakat Malaysia. Sebelum ini isu ketuanan org Melayu jrg2 diberi liputan oleh menteri2 UMNO. When the related issues arise, br diorg bg statement. Tp after their bad reputation during 12th election, barulah isu nie dibangkitkan semula dengan diperbesar-besarkan. Mereka telah menggunakan isu ini kerana mereka sudah tiada isu yang boleh menarik rakyat Malaysia utk kembali menyokong dan mempercayai UMNO. They are really in desperate situation. But they still with their arrogance and don't want to admit that they have lost.

Who actually betrayed the 'ketuanan org Melayu'. Klu dilihat mereka sendiri yg mengkhianati bangsa sendiri tanpa mereka sedari. Mereka bukan memperjuangkan hak-hak orang Melayu tp memperjuangkan HAK PERIBADI mereka. Kebanyakkan mereka yang di dalam jawatan yang tinggi-tinggi di dalam UMNO dan juga menteri-menteri dan WAKIL2 RAKYAT, tujuan utama mereka menyertai politik adalah bagi memenuhi nafsu mereka yang TAMAK kepada harta benda. Kalau boleh mereka nak boleh segala harta kekayaan yang ada kt Malaysia nie. Kalau mereka menafikannye, masakan mereka boleh membina rumah bak Istana, kereta mewah berderet2 dalam masa yang sama masih ramai lagi rakyat Malaysia yang hidup dalam kemiskinan di negara yang AMAN & MAKMUR ini. Sebuah parti yang sepatutnye menjaga kebajikan rakyat tapi mengkhianati dengan lebih mengutamakan kepentingan peribadi. Dengan menggunakan isu ketuanan bangsa Melayu sebenarnya mereka mempermainkan bangsa mereka sendiri kerana perjuangan mereka sebenarnye bukan untuk memperkasa ketuanan bangsa Melayu tp adalah untuk kepentingan peribadi mereka dan menjaga periuk nasi emas mereka.

What I observed from the current political situation, yang jadi pembangkang bukanlah Parti Pakatan Rakyat, tp BN sendiri. Akibat terdesak mereka lebih banyak memaparkan keburukan Pakatan Rakyat daripada menjalankan tugas mereka dalam pembangunan untuk Rakyat. Akhbar-akhbar kerajaan byk berita yang memberikan pandangan negatif kepada pentadbiran pembangkang di negeri yang mereka telah hilang kekuasaan. Rakyat Malaysia sekarang bukan mcm 20 tahun dulu yang senang diperdaya dengan janji kosong dan penipuan. Sekarang rakyat boleh mendapat sumber maklumat dari pelbagai sumber. Kerajaan perlu mendengar luahan hati rakyat, bukan berlagak dengan kedudukan dan jawatan yang mereka miliki.

Yesterday I just sat for examination for insurance agent -Pre Contract Examination for Insurance Agent (PCEIA) and Certificate Examination in Investment-linked Life Insurance (CEILLI). The exam quit difficult but still can use the common sense to answer all the question. It's like answering paper on law. As the questions are all multi choices question, so I just select the A, B, C or D. It's really need us to read all the notes thoroughly to answer correctly with confidence. Maybe there is a hope to pass in the PCEIA but maybe not for CEILLI, most of answer I just 'tembak'. I didn't read much on the investment-linked but hopefully I got the luck to pass in all of the exam. Anyone who interested to buy any insurance policy can just contact me. AGAIN ! i stop writing to this blog for sometimes. It is not b'coz I don't have time nor couldn't get access to internet but I don't have the mood to write. I'm trying but the idea remain in my brain and cannot be expressed in words. And I will try, try and try again until I can constantly updating my blog (anyone can give a tips to constantly have a mood in writing the blog?). Actually a lot of things happened during my 'silence'.

25-27 March 2008; I was attended a course on 'Bioreactor Operation, Control and Troubleshooting' at CEPP, UTM Skudai. Just at my office but spent most of my time at the seminar room and bioreactor lab not in the office. The course had gave me a lot knowledge of bioreactor. Even though I had taken the fermentation technology subject during my study, but at that time I don't really know how to operate and monitor the fermentor. During the course at CEPP, I had a lot of opportunity to learn theoretically and practically of the bioreactor and now I capable of operate and monitor the bioreactor and do the troubleshooting. It's makes me proud of myself.

3 -4 April 2008; I have been assigned as photographer during the visit by the delegates from Dongguk University, Korea. I have to follow all the even that have been planned for their visit. It quite tiring. The visit include to the factory visit to Pan Century Edible Oils Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary company of IOI Groups (Pasir Gudang) and Sedenak Palm Oil Mill a Kulim Malaysia subsidiary. The first day I've been invited to have dinner with the Korean delegates at Selasih Restaurant at PERSADA Johor and unexpectedly, the entertainer of the restaurant sang a korean song and the koreans are really happy of it. The entertainer also sang the russian, arabic, english, malay and minang that represent 1 of each races in our table. Very enjoyful. The next day, we have a visit to the factory and they treat us dinner (but I had to find aplace to have dinner) at Anjung Warisan Restaurant, Larkin. I actually don't know the location but fortunately the driver know the place. I choose the place b'coz from what I heard the environment at the restaurant shows the malay culture and tradition. We all eat 'bersila'. very malay.... I introduce them with a few malay dishes such as otak-otak, ikan 3 rasa (3 taste fish), taugeh ikan masin (bean sprout with salted fish) and butter prawn. The unique dishes that never been found any else but in this restaurant is the 'Tom Yam in the Coconut'. The dinner end up at about 9pm. Luckily I'm not been assigned to brings the korean touring JB. Prof. Roji accompany them for the tour. It's really enjoy to know other people from other countries about their culture and tradition.

8 April 2008; The Birthday of Sultan of Johor. A holiday for Johor. I do nothing, just stay at home. Sleep......and.....watching tv.

10-11 April 2008; Visit to KL International Book Fair 2008 at PWTC. The visit was sponsored by the book supplier for CEPP. They sponsored our stay at Legend Hotel just next to the 'The Mall' shopping complex. All my job is to survey any books that relevant to CEPP to be bought. We just manage to visit the university books section as we have only limited time. but we still manage to find a good book but it really hard to find books on wellness (reflexology, aromatherapy, holistic massage etc.). This is the first time I go to book fair. I've never been to the previous book fair. I'm not a book worm that's why seldom go to book fair.

12 April 2008; Last night I just sleep at Rumah Semarak, UTMKL. Today there will be a friendly football, netball and volleyball match between FKKKSA and Alumni of FKKKSA. The match ended with the FKKKSA staff played amongst them as none of the alumni members showed up at the field. Anyway, the match still enjoying. I'm not playing, but become the photographer of the match. The hot weather really make me felt uncomfortable and couldn't get a good shoot. The match ended in the afternoon and after a short rest, I went to KL Convention Centre to go to PC Fair. I wanted to survey on HDD enclosure but the price is much cheaper at PC Fair JB that was held on the previous week. I decide not to buy. In the evening I had dinner at Seri Pacific Hotel Ballroom. A dinner organised to gather all the former student of the faculty. I became the unofficial photographer of that even. The dinner was in chinese style. The even ended at 11pm and after that straight to go back to Skudai. We arrived at UTM Skudai at 4am. A very exhaustive journey. I slept in the whole journey from kl to jb as i didn't feeling very well. The next day I took a leave b'coz I got sick and come back to work on the next day.

After all that event, I'm currently busy on the 'International Conference on Biotechnology for Wellness Industry' that are going to held at PWTC on 5th- 6th August 2008 and also preparing the annual report for CEPP and at the same time waiting for the presentation that going to be prepared or update. Also working on the book writing for the book that are going to be published during the conference in august. I also going to sit for Insurance Exam for Agent on 26th April 2008 (tomorrow).

The above story is some of the story/event that happened during my absence from the blog world....

Actually today I have planned to take a leave but I've changed my mind and go to work. It's quite moody today and I didn't do so much work (that I'm suppose to do during work). I just surfing the internet and do some update to the presentation for an invitation talk at Kolej 9, UTM Skudai next Monday. And most of time is surfing the internet to find information and update my blog. Today is just a bored day same to the weather. I also don't have any idea what to write in this blog. But I will try to write something (at least) to make sure the continuity spirit to update the blog b'coz once I stop update my blog, it takes quite sometimes for me to write again.

This afternoon I brought a few pack of frozen 'Pau Goreng' to the office and it all sold out. My 'rezeki' for today. After that I continue facing my computer again and surfing the internet. Nothing new happened today. Last night I went to 'Pesta Konvo' and bought some 'kerepek' to fill my stomach. Also 'dengar2' forum perdana at the same venue. The food stalls are nothing new compare to last convo feast. As last convo feast, the textile and cloths stall still dominate the convo site. The girls and women for sure will spend a lot of time there.

CEPP ---> Convo Feast ---> Dinner (stall blakang petronas tmn u) ----> Home and go to sleep.

Tomorrow I will be at DSI to shoot for MSc. Process Plant Mgmt students graduates and doing some other shoot. It really excited for the event tomorrow. Hope it will upgrade some of my skills and of course to get a better pictures.

Marilah beramai-ramai kita memeriahkan Pesta Konvo UTM sempena Majlis Konvokesyen UTM ke-40. Tp aku x dpt menyertainye sbb aku akan bercuti ke kuantan dikala pesta tersebut berlangsung. Juga diadakan kempen 'Belia Benci Dadah' dan 'Tabung Darfur untuk Dapur' ketika pesta tersebut berlangsung dan ade pelbagai lg acara lain yang menarik.

Juga diucapkan Tahniah kepada 10 orang pelajar IPPMS (Integrated Process Plant Management Scheme) yang berjaya menamatkan pengajian dan seterusnya dianugerahkan MSc. in Process Plant Management pada konvokesyen kali ini.

Last night I attended a class for insurance agent at Tmn U. I've learnt a few thing and motivation to be a successful person. The formula that I want to reveal is applicable for any circumstances and actually the most important thing that we have to review in ourselves to be a successful person. It also motivated me to be a positive thinker and to appreciate any value that contain in ourselves. Each person have different objective of life but at the they all want to be a SUCCESSFUL people in their life.

BVR + A = C

B (Belief), V (Value), R(Rules), A (Attitudes), C (Character)

All of the above values are very important that will create the what you are going to be.

BELIEF = You must have belief in whatever you do in your life. It will give a confidence.

VALUE = You need to have a positive value in yourself to be a successful person.

RULES = You must have a discipline in pursue what you want to be. If you have belief and value but you don't follow the rule should be, you won't be succeed.
ATTITUDE = 'Attitude is a little thing that make a big chance'. Bad attitude is the big barrier to be a successful person.
CHARACTER = From the positive 'Belief, Value, Rules and Attitude', a person will then developed a character that everyone could see. This character that will guide the person behavior and action.

Salam kepada yg melawat blo aku nie yg dh lama sgt x di 'update'. Aku actually bukan x de benda nak diceritakan tp terasa sukar nak meluahkan apa yg berada dipikiran dalam bentuk perkataan. And aku pun x brape ade mase nak mengarang di blog sbb kt opis dh bt keja. Nak bt kt umah x de comp/laptop plak. mengharap comp di opis nie je la.

Ttg perkembangan aku skang, actually sama saja seperti dulu. Tp, maybe bdn aku ade kembang skit kot. Tu je la yg berkembang...hehe. Aku still keje kt CEPP membantu Prof. Ramlan dlm menyiapkan presentation2 nye and of course membantu my 2nd boss En.Jeff dlm urusan penyediaan pameran dan sometimes doing write-up for news or new products. And my new Responsibility is to the Chairman of CEPP's Family Day. This year the R&D unit take the challenge to organized the event and I have been appointed as the chairman and now I am in progress to develop a committee to organize the event. It's quite shocking for me as I need to handle people with more experience in working than me. But hopefully it will give a credit for my career. Nie la masalah aku, klu bt writing lebih convenient klu guna bahasa penjajah. Klu guna Bahasa Malaysia mcm lambat skit nak kuar idea. X tau la.

Ok, let me continue with my story, After asking suggestion from some of the staff at CEPP, majority agree that CEPP's Family Day will be held at Tioman Island. But that's x yet finalized. If this become reality, this would be the 1st time in my life going to Tioman Island. Anyway, the majority of the committee voice will decide.

Last weekend plak aku plan nak shoot Majlis Potong Jambul anak member aku. Tp asyik berbual ngan akak aku, jd lambat plak sampai ke rumah member aku tu. Sampai2 dh siap potong jambul. Dpt la aku shoot selepas mkn. Actually aku dh lama sgt dh x jumpe member aku yg sama2 skolah tadika sampai form 3 nie. Last time jumpe single, jumpe balik dh anak 1. That's life. Sometimes kita x sedar the time is moving so fast. Whatever la, but life must go on. Aku sebenarnye di kala kebosanan yg tinggi, tu yg gatal tgn nak menulis blog lepas tgk blog member2 lain slalu aktif yang slalu memberi aku dorongan utk terus menulis walaupun setiap entry take quite sometimes.

Today is the first day of Hijri calendar. The Muslim Lunar Calendar. Now, it is 1429 hijri means that it's already 1429 years since the first migration of our prophet Muhammad s.a.w and his preachers from Macca to Medina. The migration has give big impact to the teaching of Islam in the world. It is the beginning of a new era of Muslim world and impact was not only to Muslim but to the whole world. The teaching that brought the new era of thinking and living. We should be grateful because without the migration maybe we cannot achieve the technology that we have today.

Though I am 26 this year but based on the Hijri calendar I am 27 years old. A new year means that a year has passed. And new year means that I have more things to do and to achieve. In conjunction of this new year, I just hope that I could achieve what I had planned and be a better person from the previous year. This new year, I hope I could create a better living for me and my family. Salam Ma'al Hijrah to all Muslim in the world. Kulli Aamin Wa Antum bi Khair.

A few pics that was taken during Eidul Adha at my hometown. 2 cows are collapsed this year. This year eidul adha is also a memorable for me and has craved a new history in my life as this year is the first time I 'melapah' the cow. Very interesting and it is not difficult as I thought. I also in charge in weighing the meat to be given to the neighbourhood and orphanage. It also has get me closer to my neighbourhood - to be frank i'm not so friendly to my neighbourhood because most of my time of my life spent outside my hometown. Since form 1 I already study abroad. During holiday i just stay at home as I don't have many friends from my own hometown. Looks weird but that is the truth. Anyway, I really enjoy the feast. Hope to experience the moment this year.

My flickr Pro Acount are going to expired !!!

To announce that on 11th January 2008, officially, my flickr Pro Account will be expired. It is very sad as many of my photos will be not on display. Only 200 recent photos will be displayed and only 3 sets are allowed. I'm not yet deciding to upgrade my account to pro. To upgrade the account, it will cost me about RM81.66 (1 year) or RM157.07 (2 years).

Flickr had gave me some knowledge on how to capture a good and impressive image and gave me ideas on how to get a good angle and exposure on each image from the professional photographer. Their image really inspire me to do a better photographic work. The integration of flickr with Yahoo! really make my access to flickr account much easier. Thanks to flickr. Flickr is the best site for photo storage that I ever subscribe. Easy to use and very user-friendly interface.

Though it can't show all of my images, hope you all - the visitors, continue to visit my flickr page as it still display the recent photos from me.

Hope it is not too late for me to wish the reader of my blog a Happy New Year. Another year is past, here comes another year for a better hope and life.

It has been quite a long time i didn't post to my blog. It is not because I don't have the idea but i couldn't fine the good mood to post. For this new year 2008 I hope I could be more active in blogging. Thanks for my friends that initiate me to start back blogging. Actually, I now have a new hobby/interest ( actually I love to do this new interest since my childhood but only in past few months I have more opportunities to be more serious in it ). PHOTOGRAPHY - (IPA: /fә'tɑgrәfi/ or /foʊ'tɑgrәfi/) is the process of recording pictures by means of capturing light on a light-sensitive medium, such as a film or electronic sensor. This is one of the reason I had stopped from blogging for sometimes. I spent most of my time while surf the internet on learning the photography techniques and editing. I also join a few forum such as photoschool and Malaysia Fotopages. These 2 websites so far is the best for me to learn photographic techniques as many Malaysian pro photographers are in this forum and they are very generous to share their experience in the photographic world. I learn a lot from these sites. I would suggest for those who interested in photography (especially Malaysian) as I am, to join this forum.

Photography now is my passion. Currently I experimenting my photographic skills with my office DSLR Nikon D50 and my owned Pentax Optio E40 ('Chicken' camera). I wish to have a DSLR Nikon D80. You can visit my photosites at flickr. It gives me a total satisfaction when I being able to shoot the way I want the photo to be. I quite hard and needs sometimes to expert in this field. Most pro photographer nuture their skills since teenagers but it is not too late for me to learn - just need more efforts. Even to start this hobby the investment is quite high, but if doing with passion and full effort, it is one of the money generator (some pro photog already have their own BMW only by working as photographer). I wish 1 day I could be a professional photographer that satisfy the view of human being. "A single photo could explains thousand words". That is the magical of PHOTOGRAPHY.

KEDUA, semalu mempunyai duri yang tajam untuk mempertahankan dirinya. Oleh itu, wanita perlu tahu mempertahankan diri dan maruah sebagai seorang wanita

muslim.

KETIGA, semalu juga mempunyai akar tunjang yang sangat kuat dan mencengkam bumi. Ini bermakna wanita solehah hendaklah mempunyai keterikatan yang sangat kuat dengan Allah Rabbul Alamin.

New Phase of My Life

Yesterday I just got a letter that confirm my job as an Assistant Research Officer on assign contract basis for a year (hopefully will be extended). It is really a good news for me after waiting for quite some times. I really feel grateful to Allah because at last my patient in waiting for this job is paid. With the jobs a was offered, now I in a new phase of my life - Working Life. And now at last I become one of the member of the CEPP family. During my training here, I really love the environment and from the beginning I wish I could work here - and at last my wish is fulfilled by Allah. Alhamdulillah. A job assign for me means that I have a new responsibility that I have to hold. I hope I can do the best for my job. InsyaAllah.

With this new phase in My life I hope that I become more mature and become a better person.

Last week (11.05.2007) I went to Muar, as usual, for participating in exhibition. The exhibition was as part of the support for the Perdana Johor Social Service 2007 to welcome the Johor 'Menteri Besar'. I went there by CEPP pajero with En.Azman (driver), Kak Linda and Fauzana. Departed from CEPP at about 8.15am and arrived at SK Serom at 10.30am and straight away setting up the booth. After setting up booth, we going to have our lunch at nearby restaurant, it seem that the organiser doesn't provide lunch for us. Faridah, a staff from SPACE also join us for lunch. After had our lunch, we sent back Faridah to SK Serom and went to check-in for hotel. The event was started after the friday prayer, so we still had time to check-in to hotel. We stay at Muar Traders Hotel. The hotel still new and located at the riverside. I stay in room no. 6009. It had a very nice view. After the Friday Prayer, we straight away prepare to go to SK Serom back. We manage arrived at the right time after waiting En.Aidee to arrive.

The 'Menteri Besar' arrived at near 4pm. and the event ended at about 6pm. There are a few performance perform by UTM and SK Serom students to entertaint the guest. The performance that was really attracted me was a performance by a group of primary school students performed traditional malay martial art - the silat. Our officiated the event, 'Menteri Besar' had spent his time to visit CEPP booth. Our new product - freeze dried durian, was attracted him very much. The product also got attention from other visitors to our booth and the villager. We return to our hotel at about 7.30pm after helping to upload UTM solar vehicle to a lorry.

We have our dinner at 'Anjung Batu' - 1 of the famous seafood at Merlimau, Melaka. The dinner was treated by En. Aidee. If not, we just have our dinner at Muar Town. I ate a lot that night. Amongst of our dishes were fish sweet sour, grilled fish, 'kupang' and some other seafood dishes. My stomach really food that night. We return to our hotel at about 11pm.

The next day, we should have to open our booth, but when we arrived there, there was no booth open, so we had decided to go back to Johor. The journey back to Johor Bahru was through the long way - muar -> batu pahat -> jb. Unfortunately, one of the perfume cap was openned so the smell emit make us very sleepy. I really can stand the smell and most of the journey I was slept. We arrived at CEPP at about 4.30pm. It was new experience for me as that was my first time step my foot on Muar land. Hope able to explore more new places in future.

Perkahwinan seumpama ini, hari ini memang tersangat biasa kerana keluarga biasanya memilih jalan ini untuk menutup malu. Bila dapat tahu anak pregnant luar nikah, cepat cepat kahwinkan.

Berdasarkan kenyataan ini, nikah itu TIDAK SAH, maka pasangan itu kelak hidup dalam zina sampai bila-bila... . Persoalan ini telah diajukan kepada seorang Imam, di mana banyak persoalan lain timbul dari persoalan pokok tersebut. Saya kongsikan bersama anda disini kerana ianya amat penting:

Q 1 : Apakah langkah yang sewajarnya sekiranya seorang gadis belum berkahwin didapati hamil anak luarnikah?

A 1 : Gadis itu tidak boleh berkahwin sehingga bayi itu dilahirkan.

Q 2 : Sekiranya lelaki yangbertanggungjawab itu bersedia mengahwini gadis itu, bolehkah mereka bernikah

Q 2 : TIDAK. Mereka tidak boleh bernikah sehingga bayi itu dilahirkan.

Q 3 : Adakah pernikahan itu sah sekiranya mereka berkawin?

A 3 : TIDAK. Pernikahan itu TIDAK SAH. Seorang lelaki tidak boleh mengahwini seorang wanita hamil, walaupun lelaki itu merupakan ayah kepada bayi yang dikandung itu.

Q 4 : Sekiranya mereka bernikah,apakah tindakan mereka untuk memperbetulkan keadaan?

A 4 : Mereka mesti berpisah. Perempuan itu mestilah menunggu sehingga dia melahirkan, atau sehingga sah dia tidak mengandung, barulah mereka boleh bernikah sekali lagi, secara sah.

Q 5 : Bagaimana sekiranya keadaan itu tidak diperbetulkan

A 5 : Maka mereka akan hidup di dalam zina kerana pernikahan itu tidak sah.

Q 6 : Apakah hak seorang anak luar nikah?

A 6 : Kebanyakan pendapat mengatakan bahawa anak itu TIADA HAK untuk menuntut apa-apa daripada ayahnya.

Q 7 : Sekiranya hukum mengatakan lelaki itu bukan ayah kepada anak tersebut, adakah itu bermakna dia bukan mahram kepada anak perempuannya sendiri?

A 7 : YA. Dia tidak boleh menjadi mahram.

Q 8 : Sekiranya seorang lelaki Muslim dan seorang wanita Muslim (atau bukan Muslim) ingin bernikah setelah bersekedudukan, apakah tindakan yang sewajarnya?

A 8 : Mereka mesti tinggal berasingan segera dan menunggu sehingga perempuan itu haid satu kali sebelum mereka boleh bernikah.

Q 9 : Sekiranya saya kenal/tahu seseorang di dalam keadaan ini, apakah saya perlu memberitahu kepadanya, atau lebih baik menjaga tepi kain sendiri?

A 9 : Anda wajib memberitahu, kerana itu sebahagian tanggungjawabanda sebagai saudaranya. Mereka harus diberi peluang untuk memperbetulkan keadaan mereka, kalau tidak semua keturunan yang lahir dari pernikahan tidak sah itu adalah anak-anak yang tidak sah taraf.

Kesimpulan: Jangan sampai terlanjur, nanti menyusahkan hidup sendiri, keluarga, anak-anak dan keturunan. Berfikirlah secara waras sebelum melakukan apa-apa.

4 Mei 2007 at Skudai Parade was held CEPP Club Bowling Tournament. This is the 1st club activity that I participate. It is a very enjoy and happy moment even though I not win the tournament. Actually, I don't intend to play but the day before the tournament Kak Izan ask me to replace her for that tournament. I teamed with En. Sulaiman n Kak Linda. I only managed to drop 257 pin in 3 games. Winning is not important but the most important that is I enjoy the game.

After the tournament there was incident where the lift at the skudai parade was stuck and fortunately the escalator still running and we use the escalator to going down the building. After that Kak Linda, Kak Dila Arif n I taking our late night dinner at restaurant near the Tmn Sri Skudai. I only arrived at UTM after 12 midnight. Even though feeling very tired but It was really an enjoying moment.

Thinning at the temples doesn’t increase risk. These findings are preliminary, says University Rochester dermatologist, Mary Mercury, but they make sense. High levels of male hormone like testosterone, which can cause hair follicles to shrink, may raise cholesterol counts and blood pressure – both linked to heart disease. The hormones can also contribute to prostate cancer.

The upside to this obvious indicator? That bald spot is a good reminder to keep close eye on your blood pressure and cholesterol, and to discuss prostate cancer with your doctor.

A Low Productivity Day

My life today is in a very low productivity. My motivation to work is down. I don't know what had happened to me. What I'm doing this morning is trying to get a proper words and sentences for the company profile description for th annual report. I couldn't get my self to be creative and innovative. This afternoon I spent most of my time at flavor and fragrance lab assisting the INSEP (NBD2) Trainee in their hands-on session. Hopefully, tomorrow, my productivity and motivation will be in the optimum condition.

The INSEP trainees are doing on the hair gel and body scrub. Because too many of them, they are separated into 2 groups. One group do make the product at flavor and fragrance lab and the other half at Dilla's lab.

Ari ni aku agak kebosanan sebab tak de keje sangat. All I'm doing is surf the internet at CEPP Resource Centre. Actually, I want to meet with En.Jeff (My supervisor) but he always not in his room. He's really busy right now. Yesterday he went to KL and today he has a meeting and the meeting still going on. I want to send my draft on the annual report and discus with him for anything that can be improved. After 2 days waiting and find any opportunity to meet him and still couldn't meet him, my final decision is sending the draft to him by email attachment. I already sent the draft and hopefully I get reply from him as soon as possible.

A New Beginning

Today is Officially the first day of my practical at CEPP. I'd been assign to draft the Annual Report 2006 for CEPP. Look like a simple task but it really hard to do. I have to search many information and search for annual report from other company to make as reference and guidance in the annual report drafting. I couldn't get much on the previous CEPP annuall report because they only have published 1 annual report on 2001. My job today is only facing the computer and surf the internet to search for the information needed.

Alhamdulillah, this morning I able to settle on my hostel at KDTI and I got room at Block M05 room 311. And I got a good news from En Jeff that my rental at KTDI will be paid by CEPP. It's really reduce my money burden. I also meet As. She got a job as Working Student Scheme at CEPP. She'll be doing research under kak Wani. How lucky she is.

Today is also the registration for INSEP NatBio 2nd for their courses here. They all stay at KTDI also. So many things happened today. What ever happened life must have go on.

For along time i didn't update my blog. I don't know why i'm to lazy to update the blog. But at last i able to start post in my blog again.

Yesterday i got a sms from maya inform me that Fadz father is passed away. A condolence for her. may her father rest in peace.

About my current life, i just recover from chickenpox. A 2 weeks suffering. i couldn't sleep in comfort for this 2 weeks. I also had to postponed my practical at CEPP, UTM. But i manage to start my practical on 2 February 2007. Only 2 of INSEP trainee do pratical there; me and monoq. En Jeff and En Sulaiman will be my supervisor. At CEPP, I 'd been assign to do the docementation for annual report, supervise by en jeff and after that continue with my practical with en sulaiman. For the 1st day, I didn't do anything at CEPP, only settling for hostel but still not settle and we have to meet with the hostel management staff on Monday. Hopefully it will be settled by Monday. I don't want this problem would affect my work.

Yesterday (3 Feb 07), I sat for SPA exam for entrance in adminstrative and diplomatic officer service at Madani Hall, M-Suites Hotel, Johor Bahru. A very tiring day because it takes the whole day to sit for the exam. I actually didn't really hope that I succeed in the exam. But if succeed it would be better. There is 2 parts in the exam and for the first part consist of 5 section and 1 section for part 2. The first part in section A really testing your general knowledge and for those who concern on the current issue, it would be easy for them. The other sections are similar to any other government exam.

Dah dekat seminggu aku training kt CEPP (Chemical Engineering Pilot Plant), UTM. A lots of thing that I had learnt. Kt UTM skang a bit boring 'coz student cuti, so suasana tu senyap dan sunyi je. Nak kuar dr UTM pun susah sbb xde bas dari dlm. Klu nak kuar kena naik teksi ke Jusco Tmn U, then br naik bas ke bandaraya JB.

The training kt CEPP is ok and staff dia sume baik2 belaka....so far. Harap berterusan la. Yesterday sume practical, xde lecture. Smlm kami d beri peluang utk bt beberapa produk. Produk yg telah aku bt semalam; chili extract cream (for slimming), Lavender Scrub and nenas+temu lawak+madu cordial. Bila dh tau formulation utk buat benda alah td br aku tau how easy and simple nak buat. Kt kedai punye le mahal tp actually the cost is not that much. Tp biase la, klu buat bisnes mesti nak untung. So keismpulannya, klu nak jimat bt sendiri la.

BUSINESSMAN AND FISHERMAN

What do you really hope to achieve in life? Read this story and you may find that what you are always hoping to achieve, you may be already have it.

There was once an American businessman who was sitting by the beach in a small Mexican village. As he sat, he saw a Mexican fisherman rowing a small boat towards the shore and noticed that the fisherman has caught a quite number of big fishes that is known to be a delicacy.

The American was really impressed and ask the fisherman, "How long does it take you to catch so many fishes?"

The fisherman reply; "Oh, just a short while."

"Then why don't you stay longer at sea and you could catch even more? The businessman was astonished.

The fisherman simply does not agree, "This is enough to feed my whole family?" he says.

The businessman then asked: "So, what do you do for the rest of the day then?"

The fisherman reply; "Well, I usually wake up early in the morning, go out to sea and catch a few fishes, then I would go back and play with my kids. In the afternoon, I will take a nap with my wife, and evening comes, I will join my buddies in the village for a drink, we played guitar, sing and dance throughout the night. My day was ever so complete and carefree."

The businessman does not agree with his way of life and offered a suggestion to the fisherman.

"I am a PhD holder graduated from Harvard University, specialises in business management. I could help you to become a more successful person. From now on, you have to spend more time at sea and try to catch as many fishes as possible. And when you have save enough money, you could buy a bigger boat and catch even more fishes. As you go on, you will be able to afford to buy more boats, recruit more fishermen and lead a team of your own. Soon you will be able to set-up your own company, your very own production plant for canned food and do direct selling to your distributors.At that time, you will have moved out of this village and to Mexico city, and then expand your operation to LA, and finally to New York city, where you can set-up your HQ to manage all your other branches."

The fisherman asks, "So, how long would that take? "

The businessman reply: "About 15 to 20 years"

The fisherman continued, "And after that?"

The businessman laugh heartily, "After that, you can live like a king in your own house, and when the time is right, you can go public and float your shares in the Stock Exchange, by then you will be rich, your income will be coming in by the millions!!"

The fisherman ask, "And after that?"

The businessman says "After that, you can finally retire, you can move to a house by the fishing village, wake up early in the morning and catch a few fishes, then return home to play with the kids, have a nice afternoon nap with your wife, and when evening comes, you can join your buddies for a drink, play the guitar, sing and dance throughout the night!! "

The fisherman was puzzled, "Isn't that what I am doing now??"

So, what does one really hope to achieve in life, do we really need to work so hard in life ? What do you hope to accomplish in the end ?

No Day without SunLight

Yesterday I only have class in the morning and the remaining day I make a discussion with my friend on the Business plan.

Today there is no class, but I have to go to AMI to make further discussion on our business plan. Only three of us a coming; Law, Gman and I. After assign individual task, we are having chat that discuss a few thinngs from family, politics and current issues. In the afternoon I surf the internet after finished my chatting with my friends.

Yesterday I came accross a new on the Sister in Islam (SIS). They wnt the Syariah Court to make ammendment to the syariah law because they think that the law have a discrimination on women. For me, they are already over the limitation. Their thinking already being influenced by the feminisme brought by Amina Wadud, the women who lead the friday prayer at america b'coz she claim that women also have the rights to be the 'Imam' for man. Back to the SIS, for me, SIS should be banned b'coz the ideology of feminisme is never exist in Islam. Islam is already a beautiful religion and the law are very beautiful that would be fair to everybody, only the implementor that will ruined the beauty. The people in SIS should think with a normal thinking that is not influence by their 'nafsu'. In Islam, women is very special b'coz they completing the life of a man.

Good Saturday Morning.

Hope every body have a good day today. Today i may consider a bit unlucky for me. but i take it as a challenge in real life. Life without challenge is nothing. This morning i wait for the bus to go to AMi to surf the internet. I wait for sometimes, and then, when i arrived at PKNS Complex, Shah Alam as usually have to wait for bus no. 528. I waited there for about an hour. It really test my patience. I wonder , the route for bus no. 528 usually don't have heavy congestion, but why the bus is always not on time. Then after taking another bus to AMI, another problem I faced - the computer lab is locked. I really dissapointed, after a LONG journey to AMI, but i still couldn't accomplished my mission. So i decide to go to Alam Central to see the introducer of RETICO, but again i being dissapointed again b'coz his not there. Then i decide to go back to section 7 to surf internet there. That is what happened this morning that iving me a little frustration. I hope that the remaining day would be better.

This morning when read the NST, I come across an interesting news, perhaps, about Datuk Azhar Mansoor, the national mariner that sailed around the world in 1999. It is about the case of his religion status. He attended the UMNO General Assembly yesterday at PWTC and being interviewed by reporters after the assembly. One of the reporter request him to recite the proclaimation of faith (kalimah syahadah) but he refused to do so by saying "Does your mother ask you to recite the doa? My own father didn't ask me to do it. I've always recited it in my prayers. No i will not do it ..." (NST, Saturday, 18/11/2006). I wonder, why he refuse to do so. Reciting the Kalimah Syahadah didn't take so much time, energy or even make you loss anything if you are a REAL Muslim and you will do it immediately without giving any excuses. Even, from my observation on this article, he also didn't mention from his own mouth that he is a MUSLIM. Only Pak Lah told to the delegates that he still a Muslim. Is it too painful to declare from your own mouth that you are a MUSLIM? Is it too difficult to recite the syahadah ? THE TRUTH......Only Allah knows.

Starting yesterday, I attend the Entrepreneurship course. This course really interesting and i really enjoy it. Yesterday, I have to submit an essay about myself. It is to realize who are you. Anything happen, don't forget ur family and hometown. Today, the assignment is to give any new business idea. Although I already learnt the Entrepreneurship during my study at University Malaysia Sabah as a minor but this time, the way the course is deliver is very different b'coz we learn based on what our lecturer experienced in her real life. He introduce himself as Mahadzir and he had showed me a few of his blog. He is one of the blogger at astorajabat website, and some forum related to UMNO and government. This is maybe my 'rezeki'.
